This song I tried to push myself composition wise. The chord progression is reworked from "Sparkle Tape Break Up" by Hiatus Kaiyote. The melodies and drums are original. The background vocals during the bridge were recorded with help from Eric, Chase, Mason, and Colin. We recorded those for a personal project but I ended up reusing them on this song. My main struggle making this track was all the little flourishes I ended up adding. There are small glockenspiel chimes and piano riffs throughout the track. Reworking the Hiatus Kaiyote sample was difficult as well but it turned out well. My biggest inspirations for this song were contemporary jazz and New Orleans bounce.
